The Sint Maarten Housing Development Foundation (SMHDF)

At the northern tip of Upper Princess Quarter, between the Bishop Hill Road and the French border, lies the old plantation of Belvedere. It is at this location that the Island Territory of Sint Maarten has acquired a parcel of land of approximately 24 hectares for residential purposes. This was the start of a housing project that is in many ways unique to the island.
